About Kokorokon
Kokorokon was created by three friends whom all have a love for conventions and bringing people together. Our goal is to create a safe and friendly environment for everyone attending and to help you make lasting memories and friendships while attending.
The owners also help out with Kalamazoo Michigan's very own Anime & Gaming convention called Dokidokon, which has been around since 2017 and takes place in July every year. The staff at Kokorokon come from all walks of life, and each brings their passions and interest to the convention to help add to the experience.
We are very excited to be hosting Kokorokon with you, and we hope you enjoy having another event to attend in the coming years. We appreciate your support and we will continue to work hard to make this an event you can look forward to every year!
Kokorokon will take place at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville IL. We moved locations from 2022 and are expecting higher attendance in 2023!

About the Badges
The badge is your pass to the convention events all weekend long. You must have your badge on you to gain access to areas of the convention and badge replacements are available for a fee if you lose yours. The Adult and Child's badges are good for the entire weekend! Whether you are staying all weekend in our room block or not, you can come and go so long as you have your badge.
Our VIP badges will include several perks that the Normal weekend badges do not. To see all the extra perks a VIP badge gives you see our registration page.
We will have single-day passes available at the door the week of the convention and at the convention itself. If you pre-register you can get your weekend badge to Kokorokon at a discount vs at door prices!
