What dance events exist?
We currently have one dance event called The Symphony of Dreams which takes place on Saturday evening from 10 PM to Midnight.
This is not an 18+ event.
Kokorokon will provide glowsticks to attendees and a small light show, but beyond that, no smoke/vape machines or confetti is allowed.
Dance policy
We do not allow bags into the Symphony of Dreams dance. Please return your items to your hotel room or stop by ConOps to have your bag tagged and stored during this event. The only exception is medical bags which must be approved by ConOps and tagged for dance entry. Our bag policy is in place for many reasons, please respect this policy as failure to do so may result in your badge being revoked without a refund.
Outside drinks are not allowed into this event. Water stations will be provided. Food is also not allowed into this event. You are free to come and go for the duration of the dance.
Kokorokon does not have an age restriction on this event but encourages parents with children under the age of 10 to not attend. We are also not babysitters, so please do not leave children unattended at our convention.

Jace Hayes, under the stage alias Hazmatiq is currently a student at Indiana University - Purdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Pursuing a degree in Music Technology from IUPUI.
Hazmatiq has frequented the convention scene in the Midwest since 2017, booked initially at Dokidokon in Kalamazoo, Michigan and it has since become his home convention in which he is booked nearly every year. He has also brought his talents to electronic dances at local Indianapolis conventions, including Anime Crossroads and the late AmaiCon.

DJ 0s0 began his music career with percussion playing the drums in middle school. Those drums beats have continued to keep time for him through the years. He transitioned into DJing around the time he turned 20, with a simple table he began his evolution into the 0s0 we know today. For two years he traveled the underground and house party scene until his public breakout at his first Anime convention in 2011.
From then on, DJ 0s0's commitment to the con and DJ world has been ironclad. Over the years he has permeated the con-world and traveled across the Midwest to spin, oversee and coordinate entire raves, judge auditions, as well as host or appear at private events. With his own DJ company, Grouchy Bear Productions, 0s0 has been making waves and building life long bonds with friends and con-goers alike.
DJ 0s0 has a flair for trying new things and doing his best to always improve. Part of his success is his commitment to not be a 'Top 40 DJ' and to remember all the music he loves to listen to. ""There's so much music out there, why limit myself to just the current trends, ya know?"" (DJ 0s0)"
Do I need a large following to apply as a DJ?
No! You will however need to apply via the form below including a 10-minute audition file for DJs. For go-go dancers, you will need to record your audition against a pre-selected mix to show off your dancing skills.
